The Weekly Review
June 13th, 2026
Hello and welcome back, once again, to the Weekly Review! I hope this past week has been kind to you. The weather has been warm, the vibes have been good. I have been really into the NBA Finals. My buddy and I became Knicks fans at the beginning of the season, so this has been a treat for us. Now we got the World Cup starting AND my Ole Miss Rebels are in the College World Series. And next week, the U.S. Open kicks off. Can’t wait! Okay, I’m hype. Let’s get into this week’s review!
Things I Found Interesting
All article links are in bold italics.
If you don’t know who Sam Altman is, he is the founder of OpenAI. Incredibly smart dude. Check out this video of him from 2016 talking about how to build the future.
They say times are changing and I would have to agree. Not only are they changing, they are getting weird. You can now edit human embryo genes. Wild!
I have many things I want to do in life, but climbing Mount Everest is not on that list. So many variables involved. Lot of people die or get lost up there. It still is an incredible feat though. And what is even crazier is the Sherpa’s that help guide people up there. Some have summitted Everest several times! Sherpas are beasts. Example: They found a missing Sherpa who survived for a week on Mount Everest.
Everyday it feels like I read more and more cool stories about military technology. We have all heard of drone planes that are flown by a guy sitting in a box somewhere in New Mexico. Well, now we have drone boats doing rescue operations.
Picture of the Week
On My Mind
Your body is the one thing you can’t trade in. I have often pondered what “success” looks like in life. I think that it’s up to one’s personal opinion. However, I can confidently say that a lot of people’s definition is tied to money. Things you have, car you drive, the size of your house. But at the end of the day, there will always be something you can’t buy - health. And I mean true health. Can’t buy that. It’s built. You only get one life, one body, so take care of it.

Motivation for the Week
"A lovely blend: Always reaching. Already enough."
- James ClearFinal Word
I am starting to believe that the best things in life for you aren’t temporary. Fitness is not a fad. Health is not something that just happens a couple times throughout the year. Financial security isn’t a 2 month plan. You have to adopt the lifestyle. Start slow, stay in the game. It will pay off.
Now, put the phone down and go enjoy the weekend!
Cheers,

Adopting a lifestyle/ routines that lead you to long term success is so important and rarely learned!
