The Weekly Review
June 6th, 2026
Hello my friends! Welcome back to the Weekly Review, JUNE edition. Wow. The 6th month of the year has already arrived! Crazy. Summertime is here and someone left the heat on because sheesh, it is warm down south. I love it though. Everything is green and fresh. Colors everywhere. Makes things much more cheerful. For the next few months, I am going to do my best to focus on a theme. Over the next few weeks, you will see more content around healthy habits that you can implement in your life. Mentally, physically, financially, emotionally, and much more. With that being said, let’s dive in to this week’s review!
Things I Found Interesting
All article links are in bold italics.
I have been struggling to get good, deep sleep lately so I have been trying these exercises to do before bed. Will report back on them!
I am a firm believer that if you want to have a good day, it starts in the morning. And having a good morning routine helps with that. Here are some science-backed ways to find success in your morning routine.
Y’all know that I love kettlebells and I cannot recommend them enough. If you have some and are looking to get started, check out these kettlebell moves to spice up your workouts.
This isn’t the first time I have mentioned AI on the Weekly Review and now something else has happened with AI - it just solved a math problem that has stumped humans for years.
Picture of the Week
On My Mind
Boring is underrated. The stuff that actually changes your life isn’t exciting, it’s repeatable. In your 20s you think the breakthrough is a big move. It’s usually a small habit done for 90 days. Repeated over time and it will eventually add up. And more often than not, it is the boring stuff. Don’t skip it, just repeat it.
Workout for the Week
I have been whooped after traveling for the past week and a half. Lots of golf was played and my body is recovering from it. Wanted to keep it simple this past week and this workout helped me do just that. Give it a shot!
WARM-UP:
Dynamic Stretches
Jumping Jacks - 20
WORKOUT:
15 EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) Complete:
Pullups - 5
Dips - 10
Pushups - 15
Rest until the next minute starts.
COOLDOWN:
Walk
Breathwork
GET SOME.
*P.S. If you are traveling this summer and want some workouts you can do on the road, let me know! Happy to make them for you.
What I’m Listening To
This is a good one! New song from a new artist that I think is going to be huge. Also, kind of cool that these 2 are dating!
Motivation for the Week
“A step of action is better than a mile of planning."
- Unknown Final Word
June is here and with a new month, it means new opportunities to become better. Good news is: You don’t need to overhaul your life this summer. Pick one thing. Go to bed 30 minutes earlier. Lift 3x a week. Set a walking goal. Getting started is better than wishing. You got this! Have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers,
