The Weekly Review
August 15th, 2026 / Land cruisers, making your home better, and a killer dumbbell workout!
Hey there! Welcome back to The Weekly Review. As always, it is so nice to have you here. The month of August seems to be in a rush at the rate it is flying by. School is in full swing, people are shifting back into their routines, and college football seems to be right around the corner. It truly is wild how time goes by so fast. Let’s practice being present and pause. Take a breath. Now, let’s get into this week’s review!
In Case You Missed It
Wrote an article about journaling this week. Check it out!
Things I Found Interesting
All article links are in bold italics.
Golf in today’s world has drastically changed. It has been normalized over the years that you can’t play in a scramble without another team blatantly cheating. Well this certainly won’t help. A former college golfer got caught in a wild cheating scandal last weekend. Just unreal!
Let you in on a little information about myself, I drive a Toyota Tacoma. I love it. My first truck was a Tacoma and I have always had great experiences with Toyota. If I had to drive another vehicle, it probably would be a Toyota Land Cruiser because of how beastly it is. Cool article!
I have gotten really into making my home “feel better.” I want to curate the space. It takes a lot of time but here are some helpful ways to make your space better.
This might be one of the wildest finds ever while diving. Someone found a 162 year old bottle of Guinness. Would you drink it?
Picture of the Week
On My Mind
You attract what you project. My pastor at my church said this in last week’s sermon and it has been on my mind all week. You want positivity in your life? You have to be positive. You want encouragement? Be encouraging. You want people to believe in you? Believe in others. It’s easy to focus on what’s wrong in today’s world. Always finding ways to be frustrated or wishing things were different. But what we consistently put out into the world has a way of shaping what comes back to us.

Motivation for the Week
"Smile to life this morning and be assured, ma'am, that this life will make you smile. The present belongs to the optimists."
- Doris VeilletteFinal Word
That’s all folks! Go enjoy your weekend and remember to take time to pause, breathe, and enjoy the moments that come into your life. Put down the phone, get outside, make a good meal, read a book, and LIVE. Have a great one!
